Joulz Energy Solutions performs maintenance for Eneco on the Offshore High Voltage Stations (OHVS) at the Prinses Amalia and Luchterduinen wind farms in the North Sea.
When high waves occur the stations are not reachable by boat. A helicopter is the answer, but the OHVS does not have a helipad. The only option is to hoist to and from the helicopter. Hoisting requires training, however. On 16 February 2018, three colleagues from our offshore maintenance team successfully completed the hoist training course at CHC Helicopters in Den Helder. Our men were able to join the course thanks to Eneco. Roel van Dorsten of Clickview made the video.
